Harry Potter Challenge Blog #1
So today I have struggled with reading. There is just so much to be done and I have yet to read ten more chapters in the fifth book. In a weeks time I have completed four of the Harry Potter novels. Yes, you can say I am addicted. J.K. Rowling is a very talented writer if I must say so myself. I do get annoyed with all the description at times, but they do come in handy when I try to picture the next weapon that sets out to kill Harry and his friends. Well, off to reading again!

Wow! You are almost halfway through after about a week of reading! I am impressed, Summer. Kee thinking about how you read, when and where, and what you notice and remember and what you get bored with. Are you keeping track of facts to include in your trivia game? Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteHi! You are moving so fast! Make sure to keep notes about some of the smaller aspects of the book that maybe do not totally interact with Harry, for example the different spells. Those are most likely the things that will be asked in the trivia games as they are hard to remember. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI am extremely impressed with your progress so far Summer. I have been plowing through a significant amount of reading too the last couple of days (35 pages!!!). I'm jelous of your abilities and also inspired by them. Maybe one day we will be able to have a reading race, I'm sure it will be very close and down to the wire. Good luck the rest of the way and keep on turning pages! I'll be doing the same with you!
